The Higher Colleges of Technology′s range of innovative learning programs mix theory with practice and are designed – in consultation with some of the UAE′s leading employers – to meet the demands of today′s modern workplace.
HCT colleges include Men′s and Women′s Colleges in the UAE cities of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Fujairah (Women′s only). These provide a diversity of programs in modern, technologically equipped campuses. Although all HCT colleges consistently achieve high, uniform standards in teaching and learning, each college responds in its particular programs and course offerings to the needs of the community in which it operates.

The Higher Colleges of Technology was found in the year 1988.The Higher Colleges have expanded dramatically since the establishment of the four founding colleges in 1988, with 239 students. Today the HCT is a system of 11 campuses offering over 75 modern programs to more than 12,200 Emirati men and women.
