The Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) is the commercial arm of the Higher Colleges and provides a vital link to industry for the HCT. The centre is involved in strategic alliances with a number of large multinational organisations that are partners in developing a diverse range of business and technology solutions.
CERT offers courses in a variety of fields, including engineering, business and health sciences. CERT provides professional development and lifelong learning opportunities for the UAE, the Gulf region, and – through its online training courses – many other parts of the business world.
CERT operates two technology parks in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and recently opened offices in Dubai Internet City to take advantage of innovative opportunities arising both within and beyond the Gulf region.
