The Queen Zein Al Sharaf Institute for Development (ZENID) promotes development by providing training and research to improve the skills of practitioners in Jordan and across the region.
Through our links with the field, we ensure that our work is relevant and informed by grassroots realities. In this way we influence development at all levels - policy, project and practice - for the benefit of poor people.
We take a human rights-based approach to development, encouraging gender equity in all our activities, and advocating policy changes to bring lasting improvements to the lives of poor communities.
