General Description
DIU was established in 1999 to play a role in providing development
information to policy makers, planners, researchers and practitioners.
DIU is acting to provide needed information through action research,
ensuring the involvement of the decision makers at early stages of
research planning and the dissemination of information using the different
techniques and formats. Our approach mainly relies on the participation of
the local communities in assessing local needs, needed data and in
advocating for their interests.
