The academic programs of the Faculty of Engineering are designed to achieve the following objectives: 1. To produce competent engineers having sound knowledge and understanding and professional attitude.
2. To generate new engineering knowledge through vigorous and ambitious commitment to research in all engineering disciplines and encourage creativity through strategic view of development and constructive interaction with the external community.
3. To break barriers between the marketplace and the academic community in order to meet the rapid changing needs in career requirements through flexible programs.
4. To encourage the use of information technology in all engineering disciplines.
5. To foster a global vision as an engineering education center for the people of the Arabic and Islamic region and worldwide.
