The Electronic Engineer is concerned with formation of new electronic materials for the development and production of better electronic devices, whether discrete transistors or integrated circuits, as well as specialized component. They also work out ways of applying these components in different electronic measuring instrument, electronic computer, medical electronics and space technology system.
- Communication Engineers deal with the electrical transmission of information by telephony, radio, television, satellite and related telecommunications systems. They are behind the scenes in every successful business transaction, and military operations. They have to deal with challenging situations such as satellite communication and radar, where the signal is practically embedded in noise.
