The A.M. Qattan Foundation announced the launch of the PALESTINIAN AUDIO-VISUAL PROJECT (PAV), which it is co-funding with the European Union Partnership for Peace Programme in 2004. A budget of 640,000 euros will be invested over a period of three years in the following four key areas:
- Capacity-building through a national technical training network;
- Funding for new projects at development and production stages;
- A Schools Film Education Programme, aimed at secondary school pupils;
- Publication and distribution of Palestinian audio-visual works or works with Palestinian themes.
