The Faculty of Arts (FA) was founded in 1962. During the academic year 1962-1963, there were only (167) students and eight faculty members. Today, the number of faculty members has reached (77), while student enrollment stands at (2633) at the undergraduate level, and (291) at the graduate level.
FA comprises the following departments :-
Arabic Language Literature.
English Language Literature.
French Language Literature.
Modern Languages.
Linguistics and Phonetics.
