The Faculty of Arts and Sciences is one of the earliest faculties to be established at Amman University. There are forty eight staff members in the Faculty of Arts and Science for the academic year 1999/2000. Included in this number are eight full professors, eight associate professors, and twenty one assistant professors. This is in addition to nine full-time lecturers , two part-time lecturers, and seven graduate assistants and technicians.
The Faculty contributes to the service of the local community through conferences, public lectures, exhibitions and training courses in a variety of specializations. The faculty offers the Bachelor’s degree in the following specializations
