General Description
United Insurance Company was formed on 25th of November 1972 under official gazette No. 3287 approval number 74 with a paid up capital of JD. 250,000. - (Two hundred and fifty thousand Jordan Dinars).
It was the fourth Insurance company declared in the Jordanian Market and was called United because of the unification of a three non Jordanian Insurance Agents Dr. Raouf Abujaber who was the General Agent of Al Chark Insurance Co., of Cairo, Mr. Tawfic Kawar who was the General Agent of New India Assurance Agency and the late Emanuel Sabella who was the General Agent of SNA of Lebanon.
