The Social Security Corporation shares 8.76% of its capital and the board of directors about 9% and others about 80% as shown in its 2002 auditing. Its investments reached JD 2.3 million in 2001 distributed on the following coorporations: Dar Al-Dawa Algeria(90% of its capital), JORAS Algeria(70%), Nutri Dar(47.5%), AlNahda Financial Investments(40%),
Arab Consulting for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing(36%), Dar Al-Dawa Veterinary(32%). Its sales increased by 24% in 2001 compared to 1999 to reach JD 24 million. Its profits lagged by 7% in 2000 while increased in 2001 with JD 5.2 million. There are 600 workers and the operating and administrative expenses were JD 800 thousand. Its total assets were JD 41 million in 2001.
