The wilaya of Oran (31) (Wahran in Arabic) is an administrative subdivision of Algeria whose seat is the city of the same name, located in the north west of the country. Its population is 1,213,839 inhabitants for a total area of 2,114 km². The wilaya is bordered on the east by the wilaya of Mostaganem, on the south east by the one of Muascar, on the south west by Sidi Bel Abbes′s and on the west by Aïn Témouchent′s.
