The Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs is an independent organization, involved in research and discussion of foreign affairs related directly or indirectly to the egyptian national interests. It has been created following the initiative of diplomats, academics, professionals, officers and businessmen, which ideas and thoughts converged on the vital necessity for the support and deepening of the wide and sustainable interaction between egypt and its regional and international environment. This is in a period experiencing conflictual and unprecedent changes at the eve of the 21st century.
Constitutional Framework
The council has been declared according to law no 32 of 1964 under the registration no 413 date May 2, 1999 at the General Directorate of Organizations at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
