Mission and objectives:
The main goal of the Institute is to monitor the evolution of the Egyptian Northern coast, to study the dynamics of its shores and to find out efficient and cost-effective control methods to protect the heavily populated areas with its valuable agricultural land, industrial establishments and infrastructures from erosion problems as well as from salivation of the inlets of its lakes.
