Almishkat is a non-commercial institution devoted to advancing knowledge on contemporary Egypt ant Arab countries, through research in the social sciences, with emphasis on human development. Almishkat recognizes the critical need for basing social science research on high-
quality data sets and gives priority to producing such data sets through rigorous (held surveys in areas on which
information are generally lacking.
