The Swiss Business Council (SBC) is a young organization and is open (FOR MEMBERSHIP) under individual and corporate categories for companies/individuals operating in the UAE, The Gulf or Switzerland. To become eligible for membership, one requires a clear business or cultural relationship with Switzerland as a Swiss National with local and/or Swiss business interests and/or as an importer, distributor, representative or agent of Swiss goods and/or services.

The SBC organizes a number of activities such as regular luncheons, events, functions and dinner meetings, with top ranked local and expatriate speakers, the distribution of News Letters/Flashes, the organization of cultural and/or promotional activities in the UAE and the Gulf in order to effectively assist and support members in their business endeavors.

The SBC are also represented at the Intellectual Property Advisory Committee “IPAC”. The Council would therefore like to receive any comments from members regarding any problems experienced with regards to any infringement of intellectual property rights etc. and the council will definitely bring such problems to the attention of the IPAC.

The SBC consists of 90 members ranging from Corporate to individual, all from reputable international and local organizations.

The Swiss Business Council (DUBAI) was founded in 1995 with the specific aim of encouraging bilateral and reciprocal business and cultural relations between the UAE and Switzerland.
