General Description
Shindaghah Port represents the creek entry for security checking on the Seaman coming on wooden Dhows. It also provides loading and unloading facilities. This port is participating in developing trade by means of exporting to neighboring countries such as Iran, Pakistan, India, Somal, Yemen, etc. The passports section in this port undertakes the Issuance of landing permits for sailors and retains their ID cards till their departure.
History
The Shindaghah Port is considered as the eldest port in Dubai. It was inaugurated in the year 1985.
