General Description
Al Hamriyah Port has the capacity to handle all wooden Dhows of different sizes, as well as medium size vessels . It is considered the main source of activity in the country as it connects the port with neighboring countries such as Iran, Pakistan, India, and Somal. Also, it connects the country with other GCC countries. This port is characterized by receiving Dhows carrying goods, fruits, vegetable, cattle, fish, and shrimps. This port is one of the active ports in the trade industry which participates with an important portion of in domestic income. It, also, has a special harbor for Local fishermen.

This port was inaugurated in the year 1976.
