Activities:
The Annual Strategy Division


To follow-up the resolutions of the Executive Council and recommendations of the Public Projects Committee regarding the execution of the government projects to be entered in the development annual strategy.


To discuss the suggestions of the departments regarding the proposed projects.


To register the status of new, freezed and under execution projects to recognize the current financial situation of a project.


To sort out the development projects (projects under execution, projects under study, design and analysis, pending and new projects), to have an idea about the future expenditure to direct the government projects.


To prepare periodic reports about the phases of expenditure on government projects to define the progress of the project in the light of its current movements.


The Research Division


The Economy Section (Research Division) prepares annual reports about the economic and social developments of all the sectors up to the per capita income in the Emirate.

The economic and social developments include the variations of the production, investment, general finance, and population. Then, all these variations are gathered within one scope to draw up a general perspective about the Emirate’s economy and relevant analysis is conducted accordingly. The Research Division also studies the projects economic variations and proposes the same within short and long term objectives, as it analyzes all the project elements, in addition to statistical, economic and social information, and gathers the indicators corresponding to the general plan and provisional strategies.
