The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) was launched in Fall 1999, with a single program: Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT). The department is expanding at a very high pace to cope with the need of the growing dynamic regional and global markets.
The Department is also planning to offer more concentrations within the BIT program, such as multimedia and new media, as well as new undergraduate programs in software engineering and computer science.
A Master of Information Technology will be launched soon, for graduates, managers and professionals of different backgrounds who are planning to widen their expertise in IT and get a deeper understanding of the evolving E-Business environment.
