The Department′s goal is to :
Provide students with a broad-based high-quality educational experience for personal and professional growth based on increasing their knowledge and understanding of the basic theories (in accounting, business, & general education) & their application to real world settings.
Provide students with the necessary skills and competencies that help them to (1) communicate clearly and effectively, (2) think creatively and critically. (3) Reason logically and argue persuasively, (4) identify and solve problems, (5) develop computer/technology competencies, and (6) develop ability to work in team and adapt to changes.
Integrate and update on a continuous basis critical topics and contemporary issues such as ethical and environmental issues, global developments, and the rapid changes in information technology.
Integrate and maintain the Islamic values and the cultural features of the UAE society in the accounting curriculum.
