General Description
The mission of the department of Accounting is to provide students with knowledge of the fundamental principles and theories of accounting and equip them with the most up-to-date accounting applications. It aims to teach students how to utilize their theoretical knowledge of accounting and apply it successfully and ethically in both business and public organizations.
The objectives of the Department of Accounting are:
To provide academic programs leading to the Bachelor of Science in accounting and prepare students for professional accounting career.
To conduct research in accounting and related areas for the advancement of the field and its professional practice.
To serve the community through the offerings of professional training programs to practitioners and others.
To provide consultancy services to private and public organizations as well as other needed programs.
