The services are tailored to Client requirements worldwide. The company was founded in 1976 to fulfill the need to transfer modern technologies.The two owners of Swedpower are:-
VATENFALL (The Swedish State Power Group),
VBB BECO (Electrical Consulting Engineers).
Swedpower′s consulting services include assignments in power engineering, operations, training and management. The resources and services are selected from the above owners. The corporate organization consists of the President & Chief Executive Office, plus Vice Presidents who manage each business area regarding: marketing, project acquisitions, planning and management of Swedpower services in the international theatre of operations. In Abu Dhabi, SwedPower was the main consultant for power stations services and maintenance (Taweelah, Umm Al Nar, Sadiyat, Abu Dhabi and Al-Ain). They also worked in Kuwait, Mozambique, China Dubai, Zambia and Zimbabwe, and more than 100 countries worldwode.
The main areas of activity within Swedpower are: Transmission, Distribution, Hydro Power, Thermal Power, Training, Energy Conservation and Contract Services. The services span the entire range of the power and energy sector.
