NDC is the first venture among ADNOC Group of Companies. It was established to handle drilling operations required for exploration and field development as well as undertaking work-over and maintenance operations in both onshore and offshore areas.
Currently, the company operates a modern fleet of ten offshore and twelve onshore drilling and work-over rigs.
In addition, the company has six water well rigs all operating in two projects to survey the ground water of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
History
NDC was established in in May 1972. NDC became a wholly owned subsidiary of ADNOC in 1978.
NDC has successfully carried out all drilling operations requirements and played an important role in the discovery of oil and gas in Abu Dhabi. Today NDC is a leading drilling company with over 26 years of accumulated experience and one of the largest drilling contractors in the Middle East.
