The Ministry of Pilgrimage is responsible for the provision of facilities for the visit of pilgrims to the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah and to other holy places within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This Ministry is also responsible for the building and maintenance of Mosques throughout the Kingdom, as well as the administration of land held by religious trust.
