The function of the Ministry of Commerce comprises foodstuff quality control, consumer protection, the registration of companies and commercial agents, labeling regulations and standards.
The Ministry is divided into three major sections, each headed by a Deputy Minister. These three sections are:

2-Supplies
3-Administrative and Financial Affairs
