General Description

IPA specializes in applied science and technology: information technology, humanities and social sciences: planning and public administration.

Constitutional Framework

The Government of Saudi Arabia established the Institute of Public Administration by Royal Decree No. (93), dated 24/10/1380H (1960) as an autonomous corporate body with a headquarters in Riyadh.
IPA is affiliated to the Civil Service Bureau and maintains branches in Jeddah, Dammam and a branch exlusively for women in Riyadh.

Mode of Finance

The government of Saudi Arabia funds the Institute of Public Administration.
