SAAB was established in 1962 by Royal Decree no.58, to be a governmental institution specialized in funding different agricultural activities in all areas of the kingdom. It is designed to promote the development of the agricultural sector and to encourage higher production by the use of the latest technological advances. It offers interst-free loans to farmers to provide the necessary agricultural equipment, seeds and animals. SAAB′s capital is of 10,838,621 thousand riyals.
