Based on article No. (3) of the regulations of the Supreme Economic Council, the Advisory Board for Economic Affairs is formed. It reports directly to the chairman of the Council, and studies issues referred to it by the chairman. The Board comprises a number of non-government experts in the field of economics and its directly related subject appointed by Royal Decree. The Board submits its recommendations and opinions in any related issues to national economy to the chairman of the Council.
Constitutional Framework
The Commission was created by Royal Decree in September 1999 and has sixteen members.
