Qatar \ Head of State \ Supreme Education Council \ The Evaluation Institute
General Description
The Evaluation Institute is responsible for determining whether students and schools are attaining their goals – that is, whether students are learning and schools are educating. Consequently, the Institute has two primary roles: (1) to inform schools, teachers and students about their performance, thus helping them reflect and improve upon it, and (2) to supply information to parents and other decision-makers on the extent to which the schools are fulfilling their role. This information will assist parents in selecting the best schools for their children and allow school systems to assess the effectiveness of each individual school.
áÅhe Evaluation Institute houses four offices:
Office of Student Assessment
Office of School Evaluation
Office of Data Collection and Management
